Two New Orleans Saints join injured reserve list

After being waived on Saturday with injuries, cornerback A.J. Davis and offensive guard Andrew Tiller passed through waivers and have joined the New Orleans Saints injured reserve list.

Also waived on Saturday was linebacker Nate Bussey who was a seventh-round pick of the Saints in 2011.  Bussey didn’t make it through waivers before being picked up by the Jacksonville Jaguars.

Tiller was a seventh-round pick for the Saints this year and required surgery for a torn triceps muscle.  The team was looking for good things from him so him landing back with the team probably made them quite happy.

Davis was an undrafted free agent out of Jacksonville State who the Saints were equally high on.  He suffered an undisclosed injury which led to his release.
