The New Orleans Saints walk into the NFL Draft with three top-75 picks. Coming off an impressive closing stretch in 2025, they're positioned to have three legit swings at impact players in the first three rounds.

With this mock draft, the goal was to not only find players that could have a decent impact on the Saints early on in their careers but also find players that could allow the team to not trade up. Two birds with one stone, really.

All the prospects listed check the two boxes. With them, New Orleans will be able to maximize their chances at another league-best draft class.

Rueban Bain Jr. could be the next pillar on the Saints' defensive line

1:8- Rueban Bain Jr., EDGE, Miami (FL)

Rueben Bain Jr. has enough power coming off of the edge that could likely power a house or two. Consistently knocking blockers off a few steps, he's also proved to be one of the top in the country at stopping the run. A player like him could pair well with Chase Young, who had a career year last season. Bain Jr. could also learn from NFL veteran Cam Jordan, who just had his seventh double-digit sack season, if he decides to stick around in New Orleans.

The winner of the Ted Hendricks award, which is given out every year to the nation's best defensive end, Bain Jr. gathered 30 tackles and 9.5 sacks in 2025. He isn't expected to make it past the first 10 picks of the draft, and the Saints should rush to the podium if the former Miami Hurricane is on the board at eight.

2:42- Chris Bell, WR, Louisville

A phenom at contested catches and getting yards after the catch, Chris Bell probably would've been a first-round pick this year if it weren't for his ACL injury. Even so, Bell still managed to put up the best numbers of his career. The injury only happened in the penultimate game of the regular season after all.

Despite the shortened season, Bell was still able to play in 11 games last year and gathered 72 receptions for 917 yards and six touchdowns. If he played in the season finale plus the Boca Raton Bowl, he easily would've reached over 1,000 receiving yards. He's also a former teammate of Tyler Shough, who has been raving about him behind the scenes for the entire offseason.

3:73- Treydan Stukes, CB, Arizona

Treydan Stukes has come a long way since he walked on to Arizona back in 2020. His last year as a Wildcat was his best one yet as well, where he gathered 52 tackles, four interceptions, and one sack in 10 games played.

Stukes is also the kind of player that defensive coordinator Brandon Staley might be looking for. He thrives in zone coverage, can follow the eyes of the quarterback, and has even played some safety in the past. Furthermore, he could contribute in the locker room, having shown considerable leadership during his time at Arizona. Kellen Moore has placed a premium on character, and Stukes' character seems to be just what the Saints are looking for.

He was also a candidate for the best interception of the college football season last year, with an insane grab over Arizona State wide receiver Jaren Hamilton.
