ESPN Says Saints Continue to Make Staffing Moves

Per Pat Yasinskas:

The Saints made more scouting department moves Tuesday, promoting Terry Fontenot to director of pro scouting and naming Jason Mitchell as an area scout and Paul Zimmer as college scouting coordinator.

Biking Fundraiser for Steve Gleason in July

Per NOLA.com’s Tammy Nunez:

The group has organized a July 19-21 three-day, 270-mile ALSTDI Tri-State Trek (cycling trip) on the East Coast with former Patriots Super Bowl XXXIX Champion Eric Alexander to raise money for Gleason’s Team Gleason House for Innovative Living and for other ALS awareness/research causes. The ride spans from Newton, Massachusetts to Greenwich, Connecticut. ALSTDI is a biotechnology organization dedicated to developing effective treatments for ALS.

The funds raised for Team Gleason will go directly towards the Team Gleason House for Innovative Living, which is designed to help people diagnosed with incurable neuro-muscular disorders live more independently. It is the second residence of its kind in the United States and is located in Mid-City.
