Rise And New Orleans Saints: Top News, Videos And More

Heisman Trophy winner Mark Ingram will eventually become a workhorse for the Saints, but will he be a strong contender for NFL Offensive Rookie of the Year?

Over the last five years the Saints have experienced the most  success in their franchise history. They have won a superbowl and they  are routinely in the playoffs and in the race for the Superbowl. Is it because of how well they have drafted? Let’s take a look

Arguably the most unheralded member of the New Orleans Saints’ historic “Dome Patrol,” Johnson a 6-foot-3, 235-pound right inside linebacker, was a soft-spoken behemoth whose vicious hits left a lasting impression on opposing players who audaciously trespassed into Johnson’s office in the middle of the football field.

As we linger in lockout limbo, there’s not a lot to do but watch as the negotiators continue on a road that seems to be headed toward a new labor deal. With at least that on the horizon, the possible start of a free-agency period isn’t far behind it.

NFL Networks “Top 100 Players of 2011″ List is nearing completion. The list of course was compiled by the players themselves making it more a list of player’s respect for one another then actually one that is basing placement of off pure statistical performance alone.
