As the New Orleans Saints prepare for their big Week 8 home game against the Las Vegas Raiders in the Caesars Superdome, all eyes will be on if they can finally end their two-game losing streak. With the home crowd ready to support their Saints, hopefully, they do everything they can to leave this game victorious.

For those of you that love to bet on football games, thanks to our friends over at BetSided, they have revealed the best bet heading into this Week 8 matchup between the Raiders and Saints. That way, if you're torn on what to bet on this weekend if you're a huge Saints fan, it might give you some clarity.

In an article written by Donnavan Smoot of BetSided, he suggested that since both defenses are struggling at this point in the season, it's best to back the over in this matchup. Here's what he had to say:

"Good offenses and bad defenses is exactly what we’d want as an OVER bettor. Let’s not overthink this one. Back the OVER and root for points."

In the grand scheme of things, we're hoping the Saints do well on offense against the abysmal Raiders' defense to where they score a plethora of points. Quarterback Andy Dalton has been playing decent as of late and hopefully, this ends up being a breakout game for him to where he can continue silencing his critics.

Considering that so far this season, the Raiders are 26th in opponent points per game and the Saints are almost dead last at 31st, should bode well for anyone that wants to bet the over in this Week 8 matchup. Both teams are in the top 10 of scoring in the NFL so again, this should hopefully be a back-and-forth offensive affair between two teams trying to get back in the winning column once this game is over.
