New Orleans Saints edge rusher Cameron Jordan is currently participating in his 16th and possibly final NFL training camp, as he enters the 2026 NFL season. He’s looking forward to making one more meaningful impact before his career comes to a close.
Jordan decided to return to the squad for one more season because of family wishes, his deep loyalty to the city of New Orleans, and his desire to spend his entire career with the Saints as his only franchise. The Saints potential also played a major role in his decision, after the team finished the 2025 season strong and carried that momentum and optimism into 2026.
"Just knowing that I'm valued on this team, I can bring value to this team and I think this team has their eyes on the prize," Jordan said. "I talked to these guys in the offseason like I was still part of the team, still in all the group chats. But when I think about what this team can do — we were on the cusp of realizing our potential last year – and that's all you can hope for, is knowing that you have major potential that you have to achieve."

Cameron Jordan has been apart of numerous talented teams throughout his career, and his confidence in this year’s roster suggests that the Saints have the ingredients to be a very good football team in 2026.
