Number Two: Luke McCown

Luke McCown was a bit of a journeyman during his NFL career, oftentimes serving as a reliable backup quarterback to teams with a trusty veteran already at the helm. McCown spent three seasons with the Saints before hanging up the cleats following the 2015 season.

In three seasons with the Saints, McCown only threw a pass in two games and started one game for an injured Drew Brees in 2015.

In that game McCown had a solid outing completing 82.1 percent of his passes for 335 passing yards and zero touchdowns. McCown unfortunately lost his only start in the black and gold, but he did have a great outing.

McCown was very close friends with Drew Brees and was the support system Brees needed to keep his head up and remain focused. If McCown played more games with the Saints he could have been higher on this list for all we know.
