Number One: Willie Roaf

Willie Roaf is the only player on this list who was actually drafted by the New Orleans Saints and not only that but he was also the highest draft selection in Louisiana Tech history.

He was drafted number eight overall in the 1993 NFL Draft and proved to be worth the high selection throughout his entire career. Roaf was a dominant offensive tackle for the Saints in his career and proved it throughout his career.

Roaf went to seven Pro Bowls with New Orleans and eleven total in his career. The lineman also named a First-Team All-Pro six times, a Second-Team All-Pro three times, and was selected to the 1990’s and 2000’s All-Decade teams.

Roaf started all 189 games he ever played in and ultimately ended up in Canton in the Pro Football Hall of Fame where his legacy will live on forever. He was certainly the most notable former LA Tech player in the NFL.
