Number Three: Josh Scobee

Josh Scobee barely spent any time with the New Orleans Saints, but as one of the better kickers of his time in the NFL, his name is notable enough to add to this top three list anyways.

Scobee spent the majority of his NFL career with the Jacksonville Jaguars and Pittsburgh Steelers but spent an offseason with the Saints in 2016 before hanging up the cleats. He wasn’t necessarily a great Saint but was among the best kickers in the league during his stint.

Scobee was a dominant kicker in the NFL for 12 years, eleven of which were spent with the Jacksonville Jaguars. In his career, Scobee nailed over 80 percent of his field goals with a career-long of 59 yards.

Scobee also saw success in his short-range kicking where he hit on 98 percent of his extra points.

Although Josh Scobee only spent an offseason with the Saints, he still cracks the top three for players to have played for Louisiana Tech and the Saints.
