Justin Jefferson | LSU

Coming off of a national championship performance, Justin Jefferson is looking forward now the 2020 NFL Draft to see where his next step will be. Jefferson is not the best wide receiver in the class, but a very good one nonetheless.

Jefferson has great athleticism standing at 6’3″. He has good instincts rerouting himself and adjusting as necessary to the defense. He shows quality toughness consistently making contested catches against top defensive backs.

Although he likes to run deep routes, Jefferson’s speed is not there for NFL defensive backs. He needs to focus more on his short, slot route running that trying to use a lack of speed. He also needs to do a better job of creating separation.

Jefferson could easily be a great No. 2 wide receiver for the New Orleans Saints assuming he comes in coachable and willing to work. The Saints have proven time and time again that they are able to make young players great who are moldable.
