Roman Harper figures to be  in demand as a free agent once a collective bargaining agreement is reached and  the new league year can begin, but he’s not looking to test the market. The New Orleans Saints safety, a Pro Bowl selection the past two years, is happy where he’s at.

The Lions will have a long week to prepare for their week 13 matchup with the New Orleans Saints at the Superdome as it will be their first game after the Thanksgiving Classic. I was able to send some questions about the Saints to Keith Null, editor at Who Dat Dish, and he was kind enough to provide responses. Here we go…

At a kids football camp hosted by his foundation, free agent tight end Robert Royal said Friday if he had his choice, he would choose to play for the New Orleans Saints.

If you attended a New Orleans Saints game or watched one on television last season, you probably remember hearing this more than a few times from a member of the officiating crew – “No. 64 has reported as an eligible receiver.’’

The NFL commissioner and the boss of the league’s locked-out players stood together this week and addressed the league’s rookies, a picture of cooperation that raised hopes pro football would soon be back in business.

Much speculation has been given lately about WR Lance Moore and his possible exit in free agency.  Will he stay or go?  What size contract will the Saints offer him?  I guess this article is not so much an article, as it is an open letter to General Manager Mickey Loomis and how much Moore is worth.
