Bleacher Report's Gary Davenport looked at the NFL's 32 teams in an effort to identify one thing fantasy owners need to know about each team. When it comes to Alvin Kamara and Chris Olave, the Saints stars are being undervalued.

Davenport asserted that one shouldn't overlook the Saints' top players, despite the team's poor performance last year. Currently, Kamara is the 19th running back overall, while Chris Olave is the 37th ranked wide receiver in fantasy football.

Alvin Kamara and Chris Olave will prove the doubters wrong

Kamara is coming off a season that saw him have a career high in rushing yards, 950 rushing yards, and the most yards per carry since 2020, 4.2 yards per carry.. He should have an even better season in 2025, with a new offense to help him improve his skillset and new teammates to help lighten the load on the veteran.

He says that the vibes are good heading into next season. "It's bringing a new kind of different energy to the team that I've been on my whole career." Kamara said at the end of mini camp. "It's kind of been the same since I've gotten here."

Olave, who had his 2024 season cut short due to yet another concussion—the fifth in his career—has been healthy all offseason and has the full support of his new head coach. "I don’t worry too much about that,” Moore said during OTAs. “We feel really, really good about Chris. He’s had an excellent offseason, an excellent career so far, and (has) an excellent future.”

Although the former Ohio State Buckeye only had 400 receiving yards last year, Olave has previously demonstrated his ability to be an elite WR, eclipsing 1,000 receiving yards in his first two seasons (1,042 in 2022 and 1,123 in 2023). And regardless of who wins the quarterback competition, he is bound to get targets.

An inexperienced quarterback may actually favor Kamara and Olave in fantasy football. This equals more carries and possibly more dump offs for Kamara. In a point per reception league, that would pay huge dividends. For Olave, young quarterbacks tend to rely on their lead receiver. This once again comes in handy in PPR leagues.
