The New Orleans Saints are seeking a bounce back win against the New York Giants after a trio of disappointing losses. Improving their record is important, but this game is bigger than just wins and losses. It could decide the future of head coach Kellen Moore.

The Giants are a formidable opponent, standing atop the NFC East at 3-1-1. They are led by former Saints quarterback Jameis Winston, who runs his patented gunslinger offense. Beyond him, budding stars like Malik Nabers, Abdul Carter, and Arvell Reese make this a dangerous opponent.

This is the biggest game of the Saints season thus far. Morale is down for both the roster and the fanbase, making it a must-win matchup. But how will they do? Our staff of experts takes their pick at predicting this uber-important game.

Saints deliver the statement win they desperately need

The Saints morale is shot. The fanbase is disappointed. Kellen Moore is on the hot seat. The team isn’t playing well.

I don’t care. I think the Saints have a statement performance and win 28-17. It won’t be perfect, but Tyler Shough will have an efficient day and their defense, despite struggling earlier, will capitalize on the ever-present Jameis Winston turnovers.

The concerns will still be there with Kellen Moore, particularly with the slow start, but I trust the playmakers, Shough, Chris Olave, Chase Young, Jonas Sanker, or the Saints more than I do with the Giants~ Drew Collings

Kellen Moore quiets the noise... for now

When taking on the Giants on their own turf, I don’t expect it to be any kind of walk in the park for the Saints. In fact, I think that the game at MetLife Stadium will be far from easy for several reasons, most notably because of the pressure from inside and outside the organization.

Despite that pressure, though, I think the Saints will come through and get their first win in nearly a month. With a final score of 27-24, I expect that Kellen Moore and Co. will quiet all the noise for the time being.

Saints have to prove it before getting the benefit of the doubt

I completely agree this is shaking up like a game the Saints could use to get back on track, and it definitely needs too. However, the conversation feels a lot like it did a week ago, with the added heat of Gayle Benson calling out Kellen Moore.

The Saints failed to answer the call after being embarrassed against the Falcons on primetime, so I need to see the heat motivate them before I can say that it will. The Giants have an offense with an explosive ceiling, and a defense with some strong pass rushers.

That's key parts of New York's identity that could attack the Saints on both side of the ball. I came into the season as a massive optimist. Now, they have to make a believer out of me again. 20-17 Giants~ Darrion Gray
