Titans vs. Saints prediction, odds, spread, injuries, trends for NFL Week 1
The Tennessee Titans and New Orleans Saints will face-off in an interconference showdown in Week 1 of the 2023 NFL season.
The Saints had a disappointing 2022 season, finishing 7-10 and missing the playoffs. But, hopes are high for them in 2023 as they're set as the betting favorites to win the NFC South with Tom Brady retired from the Buccaneers and Derek Carr as the new QB in New Orleans.

Titans vs. Saints key players to watch
Tennessee Titans
Treylon Burks: The big name in the receiver room for the Titans is DeAndre Hopkins, but I think Treylon Burks is the more important and pivotal player on this team. He had a solid rookie season, recording 33 catches and 444 yards in 11 games. For the Titans offense to have much hope of success this season, they need Burks to take a significant step forward.
New Orleans Saints
Derek Carr: The Saints went and got the former Raiders quarterback this offseason and now the team's success will come down to how Carr fares in New Orleans. He has some weapons in Michael Thomas and Chris Olave, so hopes are high for the 32-year old. It's going to be fascinating to see how he performs in his Saints debut.
Titans vs. Saints prediction and pick
I truly felt the Saints were much better than their 7-10 record indicated last season. They finished second last in the NFL in average turnover margin at -0.6, and that cost them a handful of wins. If they can slow the turnovers down this season while grabbing a few takeaways of their own, they should be in a solid spot.
Meanwhile, Derrick Henry is not the same running back he used to be, averaging only 4.4 yards per carry last season. If he doesn't get going, I don't think Ryan Tannehill is going to lead them to victory.
I think the Saints win and cover in their Week 1 matchup.
