Saints vs Eagles: Breaking down the Week 17 announcers
The New Orleans Saints have to win out for a chance to clinch the NFC South and host a playoff game. That seems like a near-impossible task given that they play the Philadelphia Eagles on the road this week.
The Eagles are currently the No. 1 seed in the NFC and even without Jalen Hurts, they hope to lock it up this week. Gardner Minshew is no slouch as a starting quarterback and the birds are 5.5-point favorites over the Saints, as of this writing.
This game has some storylines for sure but it's mostly going to be focused on because the Eagles are playing in it. That means we'll get a decent broadcast crew for the matchup.
Saints vs Eagles Week 17 announcers
For this Week 17 matchup between the Saints and the Eagles, it'll be Joe Davis, Daryl Johnston, and Pam Oliver on the call. This crew called the Packers/Dolphins game on Christmas Day and Davis was rocking a pretty snazzy Christmas suit jacket. He has no reason to wear it for this game but I really wish he would.
Anyway, this is one of FOX's better crews and the Eagles definitely prop this game up. Hopefully, we see a crazy upset on Sunday afternoon.
