Saints vs. Eagles Week 17 Final Injury Report: Marshon Lattimore returning

The New Orleans Saints have released their final Week 17 injury report and eight players will enter their penultimate game of the season with injury designations.

Safety Marcus Maye (shoulder), offensive guard Andrus Peat (ankle), and running back Dwayne Washington (illness) have all been ruled out while five others are listed as questionable.

Those five questionable players are safety Justin Evans (shoulder), cornerback Marshon Lattimore (abdomen), wide receiver Chris Olave (hamstring), linebacker Pete Werner (hamstring), and linebacker Chase Hansen (knee).

NFL Network's Ian Rapoport reported early Sunday morning that both Lattimore and Olave are expected to play today. That's right, Lattimore is set to play his first game since Week 5 while Olave will return after a one-week absence.

Lattimore has been sidelined for nearly three months and his return couldn't come at a better time for a Saints team that will be down Marcus Maye in the secondary for the second consecutive week.

Olave missed last week's game due to a hamstring injury but returned to practice in a limited capacity this week. The Saints will certainly welcome back their standout rookie wide receiver with open arms.

With Peat out this week, expect veteran Josh Andrews to receive the start at left guard against his former team. Andrews started three games for the Saints this season from Weeks 10 to 12.

Washington remains sidelined with a migraine-related illness that has kept him sidelined in each of the previous three weeks.

Werner returned from injury in Week 15 but played just one game before landing on the sideline again. He's listed as questionable with a hamstring injury that rendered him a limited participant in practice this week.
