Saints vs. Browns Week 16 Final Injury Report: Chris Olave out

The New Orleans Saints have released their final injury report ahead of their Week 16 meeting with the Cleveland Browns on Saturday and rookie wide receiver Chris Olave is among those who won't be available.

Olave was unable to practice all week with a hamstring injury and is now set to miss just the second game of his rookie season. The Saints will also be without wide receiver Jarvis Landry who was ruled out with an ankle injury before landing on the injured reserve.

The Michael Thomas, Chris Olave, Jarvis Landry wide receiver trio pipe dream never materialized in New Orleans and Saints fans will be left to wonder what could have been had injuries not intervened.

The Saints also ruled out linebacker Pete Werner with a hamstring injury. Werner returned to action last Sunday for the first time since Week 15 but missed practice all week with a hamstring injury.

Backup running back and special teamer Dwayne Washington is also set to miss another week after being ruled out with an illness. This will mark his second consecutive absence.

The Saints have also listed five players as questionable for Saturday's game: cornerback Marshon Lattimore (abdomen), safety Marcus Maye (shoulder), tight end Adam Trautman (ankle), safety P.J. Williams (knee), and offensive guard Andrus Peat (illness).

Lattimore is questionable yet again as the former Pro Bowl cornerback hasn't played since Week 5. Maye was limited in practice all week with a shoulder injury but seems likely to play.

Trautman is questionable for the second consecutive week with an ankle injury, however, he was able to play last week and was a limited participant in practice this week. Expect him to play.

Williams hasn't been able to play since Week 12, but after he was a limited participant in practice all week, he could be on the verge of making his return. Peat popped up on the injury report on Thursday with an illness and his status for Saturday is in doubt.
