The New Orleans Saints have started training camp, but they’re a ways away from New Orleans. This year, the team is holding training camp in Southern California, practicing at UC Irvine. This decision to go west was a result of the franchise making some improvements to its facility.

While upgrades are always great, Saints fans were worried they weren’t going to have the opportunity to see their team get ready for the season. Every year, open training camp practices are one of the NFL’s best traditions. Fans get to see the magic happen up close. The intense practices as players battle for roster spots, the installation of plays, and the minor details that fans wouldn’t otherwise see.

It’s a unique experience for fans and the best part is that it’s often free of charge.

The Saints knew they couldn’t take that opportunity away from their fans completely, and that’s why the team is traveling back to New Orleans for the final week of camp to hold two open open practices. The first will be on Tuesday, August 20 at Tulane’s Yulman Stadium.

The team recently announced all the details for this open practice, including how to get tickets.

How to get tickets for Saints open practice

It’s free to attend the practice but fans still must go to the team’s official website to register and claim tickets.

"Saints Season Ticket Holders can register for open practice tickets during the presale starting on Monday, July 29 at 9:00 a.m. Tickets will be available to the general public on Tuesday, July 30 at 9:00 a.m. Registration is limited to six tickets per person."
