Saints are giving fans a chance to see them practice during 2024 training camp
Since it was announced that the New Orleans Saints would be holding their 2024 training camp in Southern California, there was a concern that fans wouldn’t have the opportunity to attend any training camp practices. The Saints recently put that concern to bed, announcing that they will hold two open practices in New Orleans for fans to attend.
After nearly four weeks of practice at the University of California Irvine, the Saints will pack up and head back to New Orleans to conclude training camp. That’s when the team will hold the two open practices. The first open practice will be Tuesday, August 20 at Tulane’s Yulman Stadium. The next, and final, open practice will be on Friday, August 23 at the Caesars Superdome.
The team will release all of the official details like time and attendance information at a later date.
Saints announce two open practices in New Orleans for training camp
Every year, throughout the league, attending training camp is usually one of the most exciting times for fans. It’s usually free, and provides fans with a unique access and experience as they get to watch their favorite teams and players prepare for another NFL season. Understanding how special this moment is each year, the Saints received a lot of criticism earlier in the offseason when it seemed like they wouldn’t have any open practices.
The team is currently having work down to its facility, and that’s why the franchise decided to go west for training camp. Still, there were logistic conversations about fans not being able to attend, even in California. The franchise understood that this annual tradition couldn’t be taken away from fans completely, so the Saints made sure to have two open practices in New Orleans during the final week of camp.
