Round 3: Pick 69 - John Michael Schmitz, IOL (Minnesota)

This was the pick that I didn't get an "A" on but rather a "B+". My guess as to why is that the Saints already have a starting center so this wouldn't be a pick that helps them out right away.

John Michael Schmitz has played center throughout his time at Minnesota and while yes, the Saints have a starting center in Erik McCoy, his injury this past season left the offensive line in disarray. It's always nice to have quality depth and the team could have it with Schmitz. If nothing else, he could be moved to a different position (potentially left guard).

Round 4: Pick 106 - Jaren Hall, QB (BYU)

It's going to be hard for New Orleans to find a true impact quarterback in this draft due to their lack of a first-round pick but that doesn't mean they shouldn't try to find a quarterback at some point.

Back in November, our own Jonny Camer wrote about Jaren Hall of BYU and how he'd be an interesting prospect for the Saints.

"The 6'1" product is intelligent with the football. With only 10 career collegiate interceptions, you'll hardly see Hall make ill-advised throws. He also comes with some rushing upside as he clocked in a 4.48 40-time in high school and good pocket mobility. "

Hall has thrown for 31 touchdowns to just six interceptions through 12 games and has rushed for 350 yards and another three touchdowns. He could be a fun prospect for this team but I'm not sure that I'd feel comfortable with Dennis Allen being the one to coach him.
