3. Jesse James, TE

Tight end recently got a whole lot more interesting for the Saints. They will, of course, be seeing a lot of Juwan Johnson and the newly-signed Foster Moreau. Johnson proved to be a legit red zone threat last year and showed the ability to be the true, number one guy there. Moreau, meanwhile, was a longtime teammate of Derek Carr, and has the trust of his former Raiders quarterback.

Those two figure to get a lot of run, but aside from them, the Saints have now brought back a familiar face in Jimmy Graham, who returns after a year out of the league. It seems crazy that the Saints would bring Graham back only to cut him. Graham will make the roster as a reserve tight end and mentor, which means there's only one spot left.

That final spot should end up going to Taysum Hill, who will function as a tight end, quarterback and even H-back type of role. The Saints probably won't end up keeping a fourth tight end. If they do, Jesse James has a shot. But, James could also be a guy who the Saints do right by in letting him find another home to contribute, because he still deserves a job where he can play.
