The New Orleans Saints will get their preseason started on Saturday night against the Arizona Cardinals. Considering it’s a preseason game, we probably won’t see the starters play that much, but there will still be plenty of things in the game to watch for, regardless of how many snaps the top guys play.

Everyone will be watching New Orleans’ new, and hopefully improved, offense under Klint Kubiak. Of course, Kubiak isn’t going to show much, but it’ll be interesting to see if the offense already has any noticeable differences.

Scheme aside, fans and analysts are excited to watch the players in action, especially all the newcomers. Here’s all the information and how fans can watch.

Saints preseason Week 1 injury report

New Orleans has kept things very close to the vest leading up to the game. On Thursday, head coach Dennis Allen said he wouldn’t make any decisions about who is or isn’t playing until he speaks with players. However, Allen won’t be speaking with the media on Friday, so it won’t be clear which players will be on the field until Saturday.

While that may be the case, we do know several Saints players have dealt with various injuries throughout camp. Key guys like Marshon Lattimore, Demario Davis, and Chris Olave have all missed at least some time. Others like Kendre Miller, Payton Turner, Nick Saldiveri, and Mason Tipton have been banged up as well.

Considering that this is just the preseason, and the first preseason game at that, New Orleans will likely err on the side of caution and keep guys that are banged up on the sideline.
