Chris Olave officially leads the pack for Offensive Rookie of the Year
By Kristen Wong
New Orleans Saints wideout Chris Olave has overtaken Drake London in the Offensive Rookie of the Year race. Can he hold onto the lead?
Just a week ago, Olave's odds rose to tie Atlanta Falcons' Drake London at the top of FanDuel's leaderboard. Now, Olave has jumped into first place with +450 odds to win OROY while London sits at +600.
Olave recorded his first touchdown in 2022 against the Minnesota Vikings in Week 5 and was the team's most targeted player in Michael Thomas' absence.
Whereas Olave can flourish with both Jameis Winston and Andy Dalton under center, London has been putting together inconsistent performances with Marcus Mariota.

Behind those two, Houston Texans' Dameon Pierce and Green Bay Packers' Romeo Doubs have ascended the rankings to +700 odds; Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback Kenny Pickett also popped up on the list at +800 odds after Pickett replaced Mitch Trubisky in Week 4.
Even when Michael Thomas returns to the field, Olave stands out as NOLA's No. 2 wide receiver ahead of Jarvis Landry and Tre'Quan Smith.
He made a crucial catch in the fourth quarter of the Vikings game to get the Saints in field goal territory, and fans should expect to see an increase in his overall usage in the coming weeks.
The OROY race is still a mostly free-for-all competition, and Olave will likely continue butting heads with London for that top spot.
We'll see if Olave can boost his OROY odds even more in Week 5's matchup against the Seattle Seahawks.
