The New Orleans Saints moved up several spots in the first round of the 2022 NFL Draft to nab Ohio State's Chris Olave and so far, the move has looked like a smart one.

After some "quiet" weeks to start off his rookie season, Olave exploded onto the scene in the Saints' 22-14 loss at Carolina. The rookie grabbed nine catches for 147 yards while averaging 16.3 yards per catch. In a game that was filled with sloppiness from the offense, Olave was one of the only bright spots.

It appears everyone else noticed Olave's jawdropping performance too, as his Offensive Rookie of the Year odds have skyrocketed after his Week 3 outing. Olave now sits atop the leaderboard for the award when it comes to FanDuel odds with +500, tying him with Atlanta's Drake London.

Chris Olave is a frontrunner to win Offensive Rookie of the Year

Behind London and Olave in the race are Jahan Dotson (Commanders), Romeo Doubs (Packers), Kenny Pickett (Steelers), and Garrett Wilson (Jets) all with +1000 odds. Pickett is the only non-wide receiver of this bunch and the Steelers quarterback has yet to even play a snap for Pittsburgh so far. If he ends up taking the field and makes the Steelers look a lot better, he'll have the best chance at dethroning London and Olave as of now.

It's still way too early in the season to seriously peg who could be the Offensive Rookie of the Year but after seeing Ja'Marr Chase demolish all of the other rookies in the running last year, it's entirely possible that Olave remains a frontrunner for the rest of the season. This could remain the case if the Saints offense continues to suck and Olave is one of the few reasons for it being successful.
