Saints should re-sign QB Jameis Winston

The second player that the Saints should re-sign is quarterback, Jameis Winston. Winston's future in New Orleans came in question when he changed the goalline play against the Atlanta Falcons in Week 18, though, he had the support of all of his teammates in the locker room. Regardless of that situation, head coach Dennis Allen should bring Jameis back for another year.

Jameis Winston is undoubtedly, a fan favorite in New Orleans. Jameis loves the city and the city loves him back. Just recently, Winston was out in New Orleans celebrating Mardi Gras and proclaimed that he would like to stay in New Orleans forever.

Besides just being a locker room guy that’s loved by the city, Winston also is a quarterback who appeared in five games this past year. In those games, Winston threw for 264 yards, two touchdowns, and three interceptions. If he returns, Winston wouldn’t be a starter but he would be an amazing safety net for the Saints if something was to happen to Derek Carr. Plus, fans would love it if Jameis Winston returned to New Orleans.
