The New Orleans Saints definitely have some sizeable cap hits on their roster. Which players have the biggest for 2025? At some point, the Saints will have to turn the page on this current era, as many of their notable contracts are for aging, washed-up players if we are being honest.

Perhaps they are going to give this thing one more 'go' at it in the 2025 NFL Season. They hired Kellen Moore as their head coach and also made a few free agency moves as well. Fortunately, they are competing in the weak NFC South, so I guess you never know what could happen...

Let's take a different spin on things and look at the team's five highest cap hits for 2025.

All cap hit figures are taken from Over The Cap.

5 biggest cap hits on the Saints roster for the 2025 NFL Season

5. Cameron Jordan, DE, $9,775,000

An eight-time Pro Bowler with over 200 regular season games under his belt, Cam Jordan has failed to hit double-digit QB hits for two seasons in a row now and is obviously down to the final years of his NFL career. Jordan might just get himself into the NFL Hall of Fame one day and has been with the Saints since the 2011 NFL Season. His cap hit for 2025 is just under $10 million.

4. Alvin Kamara, RB, $10,061,471

Recently signing an extension Alvin Kamara is a 'Hall of Very Good' type of player and has a cap hit of about $10 million for the 2025 NFL Season. His time in New Orleans could also be coming to an end.

3. Ryan Ramczyk, RT, $12,338,321

Ryan Ramczyk is on his way to retirement, so at this point, his financials on the Saints roster are just a formality until the summer hits and they can process the release. Ramczyk was their first-round pick back in that legendary 2017 NFL Draft and will have suited up for 101 regular season games. He is still just 30 years old, but this knee issue seems to have derailed his career.

2. Taysom Hill, TE, $17,986,500

Taysom Hill had six rushing touchdowns in just eight games in the 2024 NFL Season before tearing up his knee. Hill has a cap hit pushing $20 million for 2025 and will turn 35 years old in August, so his days with the team are surely coming to an end.

It would not shock any of us if Hill ended up back with Sean Payton on the Denver Broncos at some point, right?

1. Derek Carr, QB, $20,462,000

The largest cap hit on the Saints roster only being about $20.5 million isn't all that bad, but it does kind of prove that the team doesn't have many truly elite players or a top QB, as the biggest cap hits in the NFL are usually reserved for top-shelf players. New Orleans can cut Derek Carr following the 2025 NFL Season and save a truck-load of money.
