If NOLA wants to find their starting left tackle in the draft, the most realistic left tackle option is Charles Cross, who could be on the board when they make their pick at No. 18. There might be a chance that they have to trade up a few spots to nab him but Cross is someone who should be available mid-first round.

Cross is projected as a starting left tackle and he’s best at pass protection. He’s absolutely someone who could slide into the left tackle spot as a rookie and made a big statement there.

Out of all of these options listed, Cross is one who could start in Week 1 and could serve in that role for the next half decade. Raimann is a young option as well but he might not be an immediate starter at left tackle while Cross would be.

The best possible replacement for Terron Armstead would be Charles Cross because he could start from Week 1 and be a franchise guy moving forward.
