Every Saints player slated to hit free agency in 2022 offseason
The New Orleans Saints have 11 players set to become unrestricted free agents this offseason. Let’s take a look at everyone who can explore free agency when it officially begins in March.
In total, the Saints have 18 free agents but 11 of them are free to sign pretty much wherever they want. The other seven consist of five restricted free agents and two exclusive-rights free agents.
For those who aren’t aware, restricted free agents can talk to other teams but the Saints have a right to match whatever another team offers them. Exclusive-rights free agents are players who, unless they retire, they’ll be playing for the Saints if New Orleans wants them back.
