The New Orleans Saints will see their fair share of tough wide receivers this year even with a manageable schedule. Some of those receivers they’ll see early on in the season but others, the daunting task of having to face those receivers will be in the back of everyone’s minds.

Let’s take a look at the four most difficult wide receivers on New Orleans’ schedule.

Toughest WRs on New Orleans Saints Schedule: No. 4 – Julio Jones

Oddly enough, we’ve been covering Julio Jones on Who Dat Dish a lot here recently, as there were rumors that he actually could end up in the Big Easy despite playing in the same division as his current team. As of this writing, Jones is still a member of the Falcons and if that stands by the start of the season, he’s one of the toughest receivers on the schedule, even at age 32.

Last season was the first time Jones didn’t go for over 1,000 yards since 2013 when he appeared in just five games. This past season he missed time due to injury and appeared in just nine games when it was all said and done.

Even still, Jones had a few monster games, with his best coming in Week 6 against the Vikings. In that game, the Falcons No. 1 wide receiver totaled eight receptions for 137 yards and two touchdowns, proving he can still put up explosive numbers.

Jones hasn’t found the end zone much against the Saints during his decade-long career in Atlanta but he’s definitely made a splash against them. Saints fans know what Jones is capable of and that he can go off at any moment so that’s why I had to include him on this list.
