The New Orleans Saints may find themselves in an uncomfortable situation this offseason as Jameis Winston will likely have a hot free agency market.

This offseason is going to be an interesting one for the New Orleans Saints.

They have a handful of players that are going to hit the open market, and of those players, the team may not be able to re-sign most. Why? Well, because, if you’ve been following the team’s salary cap, you know it’s an ugly situation.

Mickey Loomis is going to have quite a bit on his desk as New Orleans has Trey Hendrickson, Jameis Winston, and Marcus Williams entering free agency and the team is $74.6 million deep in the salary cap.

While some of these free agents may come back to the Big Easy, others will be getting big-time offers elsewhere. One player that is expected to have a market is 2019 passing yards leader, Jameis Winston.

Winston didn’t play much for New Orleans, but he is in the “driver’s seat” if Brees retires. Given that the Saints want him back, he must be doing something right, and he’ll be coveted by many other teams in the quarterback market as well.

That said, let’s dive into six potential destinations for Winston this offseason.
