The New Orleans Saints are looking more likely to have Jameis Winston running the show in 2021. If that happens, who would benefit the most?

Former No. 1 overall pick Jameis Winston is in the “driver’s seat” for the New Orleans Saints starting quarterback gig in 2021. Now, that should shock at least some fans that followed the team closely this past season.

For the second straight season, Drew Brees went down with a significant injury.

This season, it forced him to be put on injured reserve. Brees ended up missing four games, one fewer than he missed the season before. Those injuries could certainly be a reason why Brees will eventually decide to hang up his cleats.

As for his replacement, in 2020, it was Teddy Bridgewater. This past season, instead of making Winston the starter, it was Taysom Hill who was given the reigns of the team. He went 3-1 as the starter.

The Saints will also have the option to draft a quarterback in the first round.

But, according to NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport, it’s Winston who may have control of the Saints quarterback position. That said, let’s dive into three players that may thrive with Winston under center in 2021.
