The Saints are officially in business, and with Week 1 a month away, these three starters are at the highest risk of not starting against Tampa Bay.

The New Orleans Saints, from top to bottom, have one of the best rosters in the NFL. With the league’s best receiver and a future first-ballot Hall of Fame quarterback, the Saints are loaded with highly talented and proven players.

However, there are positions, especially a few starters on both sides of the ball, that are up for grabs. Whether it be players returning from injury or just having yet to hit their potential, the Saints, like every other team, will have some players on the hot seat.

These players may or may not be on the hot seat of being traded, but they certainly are going to either be on a short leash come the beginning of the season or lose their starting role in training camp.

With just under a month until the team takes on Tampa Bay, a game that will be without fans, the Saints will have to start making some difficult cuts as they need to trim their roster down to 53 players.

That said, let’s dive into three players that aren’t at risk of being cut but certainly are at risk of losing their starting spot within the next few weeks.
