Consistent veterans

On both sides of the ball, the Saints have dominating veterans that make their team what it is today. Players like Cam Jordan and Demario Davis hold down the defense while Michael Thomas and Drew Brees take care of putting points on the board.

More from Who Dat Dish

This team is the quintessential mix of young talent and dominant veterans. Those that have led the team for the last few seasons obviously couldn’t do it by themselves, but the high-level stardom is what’s taken this team to the next level.

After career years from Michael Thomas and Cam Jordan, let’s hope the dominance of the veterans continues to ascend.

The New Orleans Saints still need players like Marcus Davenport to step up, but given Jordan’s abilities on the opposite side, they’ve been able to give him more time to develop before finding a replacement.

When Sunday comes, you know what you’re going to get from the four listed and a slew of other veterans like Terron Armstead, Wil Lutz, Janoris Jenkins, Malcolm Jenkins and Mashon Lattimore.

Their consistency is one huge reason for the team’s success and will again be a huge reason for their success in 2020.
