Prince Amukamara – UPDATED: Has signed an agreement with Raiders

Prince Amukamara is a six-foot, 206-pound cornerback who spent the last couple seasons with the Chicago Bears. Amukamara, 30, is a veteran but can bring valuable knowledge and wisdom to a relatively young Saints secondary.

Amukamara has had a very productive career in the NFL logging 477 tackles, eleven tackles for a loss, six forced fumbles, four fumbles recovered, 78 passes defended, ten interceptions, and one defensive touchdown over the span of 113 games.

Amukamara was still productive in 2019 as he racked up 53 tackles, ten passes defended, and one forced fumble while only allowing two receiving touchdowns all year.

Prince Amukamara has won a Super Bowl ring with the New York Giants and based on the common trend the Saints have seemingly been invested in bringing in Super Bowl champions (i.e. Malcolm Jenkins and Emmanuel Sanders) it almost seems like the Saints have to sign him.

Amukamara would be a cheap, solid addition to help add some depth to the Saints secondary.
