Who is Karen Waldrup?
Karen Waldrup is a country singer who’s actually a Louisiana native. From Mandeville, Louisiana, Waldrup will be singing the anthem before her hometown team takes the field.
She gained a lot of notoriety after becoming a finalist on season 25 of NBC’s The Voice. Since her stint on the show, Waldrup has released new music and has been touring.
She’s no stranger to singing the national anthem, and has even performed the anthem for a Saints game before, back in Week 17 of the 2018 season. Waldrup even has a video on her YouTube page of her performing the anthem before a Cleveland Browns game back in 2013.
