The New Orleans Saints take center stage in a primetime game for the third time this season, concluding Week 16 on Monday Night Football. All three primetime games have been against really good opponents. The Kansas City Chiefs in Week 5, the Denver Broncos in Week 7, and now the Green Bay Packers in Week 16.
While New Orleans enters the game at 5-9, Green Bay is riding high at 10-4. If a December game against a playoff Packers team wasn’t tough enough, the Saints will be without Alvin Kamara, Derek Carr, and several other key players on both sides of the ball.
New Orleans was eliminated from playoff contention on Sunday, so the team could easily pack it in. However, interim head coach Darren Rizzi made it clear that isn't an option under his lead.
