Tyler Shough gets his first repeat opponent of his young career, and he'll be looking for payback. He didn't start the first time the New Orleans Saints played the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, but Shough did play half of the game.

During the Bucs' visit to New Orleans in week 8, Shough entered the game following the benching of starting quarterback Spencer Rattler. Despite the dome erupting in cheers when he stepped onto the field, he failed to rally the team and eventually the game was lost 23-3.

This time, though, Shough will get all four quarters to try and take them down. Hopefully now with a few starts and highlight plays under his belt, the Saints will score more than just a measly three points.

The next few weeks will be full of familiar opponents for Tyler Shough

The Buccaneers aren't the only team that Tyler Shough will have a chance to play for a second time this season. Over the final stretch of the season, he'll also get the chance to play the Carolina Panthers and Atlanta Falcons again.

With Carolina, it can be Shough's first shot to go 2-0 against an NFL team. It'll also be one of his last shots to secure a win in the Superdome before the season's end. He's played in two home games, the first when he came in halfway through the first Buccaneers game, and fell short in both. Other than the Panthers, Shough's only home opponent is the Jets.

With the Falcons, he gets a shot at being the first Saints rookie quarterback to take them down, something he failed to do the first time around, which Shough himself said "Sucked." In the season finale, Shough will also have a chance to be the first Saints rookie quarterback to take down the Dirty Birds. Luckily, he says the team knows what they have to do to beat them the next time around.

"I think that's the story of the game: there's a lot of fixable things," he said to the media. "We'll finish it, and it'll be a different story next time."
