In the spirit of Father's Day, let's take a look at the New Orleans Saints' favorite sons. There's a few teams and players the Saints just have long term bragging rights over.
The list goes through specific matchups, all time history and recent moments. As all Saints fans know, there's no list complete without the Falcons. They make two appearances on the list. There's one team, however, the Saints may have bigger bragging rights over.

Saints have many sons. The Falcons are at the top of that list
Sean Payton vs Falcons
Sean Payton dominated the Falcons from start to finish. The first game Payton coached against Atlanta was the Domecoming. The Saints obviously won that game, and he won his next three games versus the Falcons. Payton followed that four game win streaks up with multiple three game winning streaks against the Falcons.
Payton finished his time in New Orleans with a 21-9 record versus the Falcons. There wasn't a team he had better success against. That success carried over to Denver, where he won the lone game they played.
Cam Jordan vs Matt Ryan
Back to the Falcons. No one has brought down a single quarterback more than Jordan has sacked Ryan. Jordan sacked Ryan 23 times in 11 seasons. That's an NFL record.
Ironically, it took Jordan a while to get a sack against another Falcons QB. He's picked it up with a sack in each of the last three matchups, but he was so used to bringing down Ryan that Jordan had to remember he could sack other Falcons quarterbacks.
Saints vs Colts
Historically, the Saints have a few things to hold over the Colts' head. We could start off with the obvious. The Saints' lone Super Bowl victory came against the Colts. Beating a team in the Super Bowl is really all the bragging rights one needs, but the list doesn't stop there.
The Saints lead the matchup 10-5 all time. It's their best win percentage against any team. They haven't lost to Indianapolis since beating them in the Super Bowl. To cap it all off, the Saints beat the Colts 62-7 in 2011. That's the largest margin of victory in Saints history and third largest ever.
Marshon Lattimore vs Mike Evans
The Lattimore vs Evans feud was genuinely good TV, but it was also a battle Lattimore frequently won. While we could take the day to appreciate the feud in totality. Let’s get more specific and highlight Lattimore’s best performance.
There was many to pick from, but the game that stands out the most is Week 5 of the 2019 season. Lattimore essentially followed Evans for the entire game, and Evans finished the game with 0 catches. It's rare to pull that off against a player of Evans' caliber. It was Lattimore's most statistically dominant game and earned him an annual cart on the third Sunday of every June.
