The former Ole Miss Rebel pairs a massive frame with surprising athleticism and quickness to be a dynamic presence on the interior defensive line. Harris can be a year-one contributor and immediately elevate Brandon Staley’s defense with his every-down impact.
It’s noteworthy that Harris must navigate some off-the-field issues. He’s been involved in multiple legal complications, including a DUI in 2023 and domestic violence and obstruction charges in 2024. Without this in his past, Harris wouldn't even have been available as a UDFA. Even with all of his talent, he’s no help if he can’t stay out of trouble.

In addition to his physical dominance, Harris is shockingly agile for his size. He has an outstanding first step that helps him beat his competition immediately off the snap. This, paired with his violent hand usage and effective swim move creates a dangerous pass rusher who can provide pressure on the quarterback.
These traits make him an enticing prospect, but he’s most impactful on special teams. Harris has six blocked kicks in his career and is challenging for kickers to arch the ball over. He would immediately start on Phil Galiano’s unit and be a star.
Overall, there are concerns about Zxavian Harris and his legal troubles, but his power, agility, and every-down impact make him a home-run pickup in undrafted free agency. He’s likely to contend for a roster spot and contribute early in his rookie season.
