Although the New Orleans Saints haven’t been their best in 2025, there’s still plenty to appreciate about this squad. The young talent on the roster continues to show real growth, giving fans hope for the future. Despite the ups and downs, the team’s resilience has been encouraging.
Sure the Saints haven’t dominated this season, but the squad still has plenty juice. The culture is showing signs of something promising, even through the tough stretches.
The culture is showing signs of something promising and the youngsters are starting to embrace their roles with confidence. Even in a challenging year, the fort and hunger shows that better days will come.
There’s still a few things Saints fans should be excited about
Tramell: Saints being competitive
I’m thankful that the Saints haven’t been competitive for the most of the season. Even though the wins haven’t shown up in the column, this team has shown a lot of fight and plenty of signs that they can be really good in the future.
Darrion: Saints 2025 Draft Class
I'm thankful for the 2025 draft class. The Saints began their rebuild with what could be a foundational draft class. With players like Kelvin Banks Jr., Quincy Riley and Jonas Sanker, the Saints have what could be long term starters. So far, they've been the highlight. Tyler Shough has shown flashes of what could be a bright future a quarterback. If he delivers on those flashes, the Saints could look back on 2025 as the perfect class to begin the Kellen Moore
Molly: Cam Jordan
Im thankful for players like Cam Jordan. Not only is he a player that gives back to the city time and time again, but I also think he has been one the main reasons that the teams “good vibe” this year has stayed as such. He’s such a personality, that If the Saints didn't have him, they would definitely feel it in the locker room; and all of that's not to mention his HOF caliber play on the field.
Drew: Future Draft Picks
I’m thankful for the upcoming draft picks. The Saints are in a full rebuild and are dependent on those picks to bring in talent. Although it was tough, I’m thankful for them trading Rashid Shaheed and not sacrificing future picks for current assets. The more chances at a future star, the better. Even if it’s just a late round pick, those can pan out potentially.
