The New Orleans Saints are a day away from the first game of the Kellen Moore era. The Saints welcome the Arizona Cardinals to Caesars Superdome for a Week 1 showdown. Ahead of the first game of the season, the Who Dat Dish team gives a prediction for the season.

The Saints have been laughingstocks this offseason. There have been taken shots at the quarterback, the overall roster, and are already writing them in as one of the top three picks in the upcoming draft. There's more negativity than positivity surrounding the team.

These predictions vary in style. Some predictions are looking at how successful the team will be in the first season under Moore. Other take a look at the team from an individual view. All go into shaping the story of the Saints season.

Predictions for Saints 2025 season

Darrion- Alvin Kamara will run for 1000 yards

This is the first year Alvin Kamara will crack the century mark in rushing yards. When you look back through Kamara's career, he's only flirted with 1000 rushing yards twice. He should have done it in both 2020 and 2024. A suspension due to COVID kept him out of the final game of the year, and he just needed 68 yards. The Saints routed the Panthers, and he would have easily gotten the amount.

Last year, an injury held Kamara out three games when he was just 50 yards. In 2025, however, the Kellen Moore system will maximize his skillset and finally help Kamara hit that career milestone. Saquon Barkley joined the 2k club last year in this offense. We just want half.

Tramell- Saints will be playoff contenders

The Saints win 2025 win total is currently sitting at, 5.5 wins. Not only will the Saints surpass their projected win total, they will also be in the hunt for a division title and playoff berth entering the final week of the season. The New Orleans Saints have been disrespected all offseason, and now it is time for them to put the pads on and prove the doubters wrong.

Molly- Saints will end with 9 wins

One thing that I predict is that the New Orleans Saints will end the season with nine wins. I think that Spencer Rattler will  get the hang of things, whether or not he wins against the Cardinals. Additionally, the Saints have one of the easiest schedules in the NFL, so I think that a win will be a lot easier to come by than most think.
