The New Orleans Saints came into the matchup with the Tennessee Titans looking for their longest win streak since the Sean Payton era. Mission accomplished. Tyler Shough won his last three starts, and extended the streak to four in a row. He also set a career high in yards along the way.

The Saints turned it on late. The offense only accounted three points in the first half. Chase Young took a strip sack to the house for a touchdown, and that was the only touchdown by New Orleans through 30 minutes. Kai Kroger didn't see the field until the end of the second half, and the Saints scored 24 points.

The entire second half was kind to the Saints, but the offense really hit their stride in the fourth quarter. After recording 207 yards in the first three quarters, the Saints doubled their yardage in the fourth quarter alone.

The headliner of Tyler Shough vs Cam Ward was rivaled by a war of kickers

Everyone wanted to see the battle between Shough and Ward. These have been the two best quarterbacks from the 2025 NFL draft class. Ward was the first overall pick. Shough was the quarterback many thought was drafted too high by the Saints. Ward started from Day 1, while the latter sat on the bench for the first half of the season. The process was drastically different, but they got to the same destination.

It was the main attraction of the game, and they didn't disappoint. Both Shough and Ward were efficient and made big time plays. Ward scrambled and found his weapons downfield. Shough threw for 300 yards for the second consecutive game. Shough consistently attacked the deep portion of the field targeting multiple receivers. The prettiest pass was his deep shot to Chris Olave.

The only thing that competed with Shough and Ward was the back and forth between Charlie Smyth and Joey Slye. Smyth knocked in two field goals, both from beyond 50 yards. Slye made four field goals, accounting for nearly half of the Titans' points.
