The New Orleans Saints won their fourth game in a row on Sunday, bringing down the Tennessee Titans 34-26. Believe it or not, this is the first four-game win streak the Saints have gone on since the Sean Payton era.

Last time this happened, "Positions" by Ariana Grande was one of the hottest songs in the U.S., and the Saints had goals of playing football in February. In fact, back in 2020 when this was all happening, the winning streak was longer than four games (it reached nine), and the Saints didn't lose a single game in November.

Now, however, the Saints have long since been eliminated from the playoffs and are set to have a top 10 draft pick. They have won every game in this December (for only the third time in franchise history), but unfortunately, with February out of the picture, the team is going to have to ride this wave of momentum into the offseason.

Kellen Moore has used December football as the official start of a new era in New Orleans

For weeks now, Kellen Moore has been talking about how he wants to make December football meaningful. He did it all in his first chance at it. It's something that has clearly had a positive effect on the locker room, because we haven't had this many players smiling in a long while. Moore also has his players just straight up saying that this is the best locker room they've ever been in, which is a testament to the kind of coach he is.

Since their last loss on Nov. 30, the Saints have truly come together, along with Moore himself getting more comfortable as a head coach. Also, something that wasn't able to be said last month: the Saints has a chance to avoid finishing last in the division. All they need to do is defeat the Atlanta Falcons at Mercedes-Benz Stadium.
