The College Football Playoffs roll on as there are three matchups on New Year's Day. New Orleans Saints who are preparing for the draft should be locked in as there’s lots of intriguing matchups taking place.

I already covered prospects to watch in the Oregon vs. Texas Tech game so I won’t be going over those two teams

With that said, it’s time to dive into four prospects Saints fans should be watching as potential options in the draft.

Elijah Sarratt is set to shine in Indiana’s offense

Indiana: Elijah Sarratt

Elijah Sarratt is the No. 1 receiver for the high octane Hoosiers offense. The senior has missed some games with injury but still has 687 yards and 12 touchdowns this season. Sarratt’s a big, physical receiver who thrives in the middle of the field. He’s got surprisingly great short area quickness and is the primary option for Fernando Mendoza. Sarratt is likely to have a big day as Indiana faces Alabama.

Alabama: Deontae Lawson

Deontae Lawson is the leader for Alabama’s defense at linebacker. The redshirt senior can do it all and is vital to the Crimson Tide’s success. He will have a tall task defending the middle of the field, but is well capable. Lawson’s a high IQ player who constantly puts himself in positions to make a play. If he plays well, Lawson could be an enticing option for the Saints in the draft.

Ole Miss: Zxavian Harris

Zxavian Harris is one of the most underrated players in the draft. He’s a monstrous threat at defensive tackle, standing 6’8”, 330 LBs. Harris is shockingly agile for the size and has the strength to bullrush an offensive lineman. He’s a force of nature for the Rebels and is impossible to miss on the field. He does have off the field issues, but is still an intriguing option in the draft who will make his name known on Thursday.

Georgia: Zachariah Branch

Zachariah Branch is one of the most twitchy and explosive athletes in college football. Branch has 73 receptions for 744 yards and five touchdowns this season. He’s not big, only being 5’10”, 180 LBs, but is nearly impossible to cover. Branch makes plays when Georgia’s offense needs it the most. Keep an eye on him in those crucial situations.
