The New Orleans Saints kickoff the season in 46 days against the Arizona Cardinals. As we continue our countdown to kickoff, we take a look back on another one of Reggie Bush's highlight plays from his Saints tenure. This one comes against the Cardinals during the Saints Super Bowl run.

Bush had the best playoff game of his career against Arizona in the 2009 NFC divisional round. This isn't the first time we've reflected on this game during this series. This time we take a look at Bush's 46-yard touchdown scamper.

The touchdown run was the running back's first score of the game. He finished with two touchdowns, one of which was a punt return. Bush also finished with 100 yards from scrimmage to go with his two highlight plays.

Reggie Bush produced another "how did he do that?" play

Without being hyperbolic, this is one of best and most electrifying runs I've seen in my entire life. Bush showed vision, athleticism, contract balance, speed, and quickness all on one play

Bush took the handoff to the left side of the offensive line. It was blocked perfectly up front, but a cornerback beat the wide receiver and made contact with Bush as he made it to the second level. Bush spun but didn't avoid the defender completely. It helped him bounce off the tackle, however.

That contact was a blessing in disguise as the Cardinals safety was coming down hard. Bush broke inside after evading the tackle. Calaias Campbell came barreling towards the Saints rusher. Bush quickly cut upfield and left Campbell colliding with the original attempted tackler like a scene from a cartoon.

From there, it was just straight line speed. No one even got a hand on Bush as he streaked past Cardinals defenders. The matchup against Arizona is the least discussed game from that playoff stretch. Bush ran out with a bat in pregame introductions. That set the tone, and he delivered by being the star of the game.
