What time will the New Orleans Saints be on the clock in the 2024 NFL Draft?
The New Orleans Saints own the 14th pick in the 2024 NFL Draft. The Saints finished with a 9-8 record in 2023 but missed out on the playoffs and now will pick in the middle of the first round.
For the fans who don't care about the rest of the first round and only want to see who the Saints select, what time can fans expect to tune in?
What time will the New Orleans Saints be on the clock in the 2024 NFL Draft?
The draft begins at 7:00 PM CST on Thursday, April 25th and every team in the first round has 10 minutes to make their selection. If every team takes the full 10 minutes, that'd be 140 minutes or two hours and 20 minutes into the first round.
Now, of course, there are some factors to consider here. Teams aren't likely to use all 10 minutes of their allotted time plus there are commercials to factor in.
We can also look at past draft history to pinpoint a time when NOLA might be on the clock. The Pittsburgh Steelers owned the 14th pick in the 2023 NFL Draft and announced their selection of Broderick Jones at 8:50 PM CST. This is a good example of when the Saints should be making their pick on Thursday night.
If Saints fans don't want to watch the rest of the draft and only want to see their team on the clock handing their card into the commissioner, they should tune in between 8:40 PM CST and 9:00 PM CST.
