Tom Brady

This isn't a serious entry. If Brady doesn't retire, he probably returns to Tampa Bay but after this year has gone for the Bucs, maybe he reconsiders signing elsewhere?

It's doubtful that even if Brady did opt to play for a 100th season that he'd sign with the Saints. Sean Payton isn't with the team anymore so they're not appealing in the head coaching department but they have good receivers, a good run game, and usually a pretty solid defense.

Again, this is very unlikely but he will be a free agent this offseason so I'm including him in this post.

Teddy Bridgewater

Another year, another offseason of "Will the Saints bring Teddy Bridgewater back?"

For the record, Bridgewater shouldn't be a team's starting option anymore. He's a good backup but he's not going to be a guy who can start 17 games and get a team to the playoffs.

While I adore Bridgewater and appreciate what he did for the Saints in the past, the only way the team should sign him is if they draft a quarterback and bring him in as a backup. That feels unlikely though with Winston still under contract for 2023.
