Saints Stud: Rashid Shaheed, WR/KR

Rashid Shaheed continues to be a major weapon for the Saints.

He's been decent as a receiver but even when he winds up with no catches — as he did in this one — he can still impact a game. Shaheed was able to put up seven points for the Saints when he ripped off a 76-yard punt return for a touchdown.

Shaheed has come close to breaking a big return and finally did so here. It wasn't enough but it was still an exciting play from the young returner.

Saints Dud: Blake Gruppe, K

With Derek Carr out, Jameis Winston was asked to help guide the offense and he finally put together a decent drive at the end of the game. Winston and the Saints went 47 yards on an eight-play that could have ended with a game-winning kick.

Unfortunately, rookie Blake Gruppe was wide right from 46 yards and the Packers ran out the final 1:05. After the game, Gruppe admitted he wasn't good enough and that he let his teammates down.

“One day you're the hero, the next day you're the villain,” Grupe said via ESPN. "I put together a good preseason and we got a good start to the season. The guys did their job today, and I’ve got to be better.”

Gruppe had hit on his previous six field goal attempts but this is one he knows he should have made. There's still a lot of football left but this is one they'd surely want back.
