It might not be the most exciting bet to place, but I love the UNDER in this matchup. The total of 38 may seem like a low number, but it's relatively high for a preseason game.
The Texans offense has not looked impressive through their first two games, scoring just a combined 23 points while failing to score a touchdown against the Saints. Things are looking bleak for the Texans quarterbacks, including their rookie CJ Stroud who has looked objectively bad so far.
After a shootout against the Saints in the first preseason game, things slowed down a bit against the Chargers in Week 2 when they won 22-17. Their offense may score some points on the Texans, but without Houston being able to contribute to the total, I see this one going UNDER.
