Wins in the preseason mean nothing in the long run, it would feel nice for the Saints to end their 2023 exhibition schedule with a perfect record.
They have a chance to do exactly that when they wrap up their preseason against the Houston Texans on Sunday.

Texans vs. Saints odds, spread, and total
Texans vs. Saints prediction and pick
It might not be the most exciting bet to place, but I love the UNDER in this matchup. The total of 38 may seem like a low number, but it's relatively high for a preseason game.
The Texans offense has not looked impressive through their first two games, scoring just a combined 23 points while failing to score a touchdown against the Saints. Things are looking bleak for the Texans quarterbacks, including their rookie CJ Stroud who has looked objectively bad so far.
After a shootout against the Saints in the first preseason game, things slowed down a bit against the Chargers in Week 2 when they won 22-17. Their offense may score some points on the Texans, but without Houston being able to contribute to the total, I see this one going UNDER.
It's not the most exciting bet to place, but this is preseason after all. Let's get a win and move on to the regular season.
